Corporate Profile

BMW Group is associated with Tata Steel Ltd for the past 35 years in Sales & Marketing of its products, with more than 600 employees under its roof. Distribution is the core business of the group and is spread across Bihar.

Foundation of today’s network was laid by Late Sagarmal Kishorepuria, father of present MD, Mr.Bijay Kumar Kishorepuria. BMW group formally stepped into the distribution network of TATA STEEL Products in 1980s and has now progressed to provide its valuable customers with selling, marketing, distribution, warehousing, logistic services and building solutions.His Son Mr. Nitin Kishorepuria is also looking after the business for the last 15 years and he is looking after the Sales and Marketing of the entire brand.

BMW Group has always kept a multi-business, multi-product and multi-location business outlook.Being one of the leading suppliers of Tata Steel products, Tata Tiscon, Tata Shaktee, Tata Durashine, Tata Pravesh, Tata Readybuild, Tata Kosh, Tata Astrum, Tata Wiron, Tata Structura, Tata Agrico, Tata Superlinks, Tata Steelium, Tata Galvano and Spark-Weilding Electrodes which form a part of business venture of this group in agro sector. The group also deals in Roof junction, Nest-in and a plethora of other industrial products to provide cheap, durable and all weather housing solution.

BMW Logistics is the logistic partner for BMW Ventures in Patna & also deals in Sonalika Tractors in East  UP  Office in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Nupur Heights deals in John DeereTactors in entire Uttar Pradesh .

Management

Bijay Kumar Kishorepuria aged 67 years, is the Promoter and Managing Director of our Company. He has completed his second year of bachelors of commerce from Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University. He has been associated with our company since its incorporation. He was originally appointed on our Board on October 07, 1994 and further designated as managing director with effect from April 01, 2018. He has an experience of about 24 years in the trading of Iron and Steel products. He is actively engaged in managing the day today affairs of the Company and is responsible for the expansion and overall management of the business of our Company.

Nitin Kishorepuria aged 41 years, is the Promoter and Whole Time Director of our Company. He has completed his Post Graduation Diploma Course in Business Management (Marketing and Systems) from International School of Business & Media, Pune. He currently looks after the sales and marketing strategies of our Company. He has an experience of about 15 years in the trading of Iron and Steel products and has been associated with our Company since 2003. He has been designated as Whole time Director with effect from April 01, 2018

Sabita Devi Kishorepuria, aged 64 years, is the Promoter and Whole time Director of our Company. She has completed her intermediate from Baliram Sharma College of Banka District of Bihar. She has been on our board since October 07, 1994. She looks after the women’s grievance and safety related matters at the workplace of our company. She has been designated as Whole time Director with effect from September 01, 2018.

Rachna Kishorepuria aged 40 years, is the Promoter and Whole time Director of our Company. She has completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Arts from Patna University. She has been on our board since November 01, 2006. She looks after human resource and administrative function of our Company. She has been designated as Whole time Director with effect from September 01, 2018.

Yogesh Tulsyan aged 64 years, is a Non- Executive Independent Director of our Company. He holds a Degree in Law from University of Calcutta. He has been on our Board since December 23, 2017. He is a practicing lawyer. He has experience in the field of law with special focus on Taxation related matters and he is a member of Bar Council of West Bengal.

Vijay Kumar Gupta aged 63 years, is a Non- Executive Independent Director of our Company. He has completed his Master’s Degree in Philosophy (English) from Punjabi University. He has been on our Board since June 26, 2018. He joined Oriental Bank of Commerce in the year 1983 and served for thirty three years and he retired as deputy general manager from the services of the bank in the year 2016. He was looking after all the Banking Activities as a Regional Head in the Oriental Bank of Commerce.

Rachita Kedia aged 39 years, is a Non- Executive Non - Independent Director of our Company. She has completed her B.A. Computer Application part-III from Patna University. She joined our Board on September 25, 2019.

Birendra Yadav, aged 45 years, is the Chief Financial Officer of our Company. He is a commerce graduate from Magadh University, Bodh Gaya. He has experience of about 11 years in various fields such as accounts, bank finance, liasoning with various government departments etc. His responsibilities include maintaining the requirement of applicable accounting standards of our Company, assisting the Company in implementing the corporate governance practice, etc. He has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of our Company with effect from August 01, 2017. He is associated with our company since 2008 as head of accounts department. His gross salary is Rs. 4.56 lakhs per annum.

Rahul Kumar, aged 27 years, is the Whole- time Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of our Company. He is a commerce graduate from Patna University. He is also a qualified company secretary and an associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He has more than two years of experience in the field of corporate and legal compliance. He looks after the Legal, Secretarial and Compliance Department of our Company. He is duly appointed in our company with effect fromJune 05, 2019. His gross salary is Rs. 3.60 lakhs per annum.

CSR

BMW group carries out various CSR projects, most of which are community improvement and poverty alleviation programs. Through self-help groups, it is engaged in women empowerment activities, income generation, rural community development, and other social welfare programs. In the field of education, the group provides scholarships and endowments for numerous institutions.Other areas include economic empowerment through agriculture programs, environment protection and infrastructure development such as hospitals, primary schools etc. BMW group also engages itself in various healthcare programs like free health check ups and blood donation camps.
